Learn how to hem your own pants, sew on your own buttons and the very basics of sewing! This course is based on hand work, with the option to bring in your sewing machine for the second and third classes.
Supplies Provided: needles, muslin, thread for each person.
- pen/pencil and paper for notes.
- any sewing supplies you already have.

If you have none for the first class, that’s ok, we’ll discuss the following so that you can purchase what you need to complete your basic sewing kit for day 2:
Basic sewing kit: needles, thread, rulers, thimbles, scissors, stitch ripper, chalk/pencil
demonstration and practical application in hemming, repairs, replacing buttons…
Day 2: Machines – for those who have machines, they can bring them in, along with their manual. Also, please bring your Basic sewing kit.
